Our goal is to continue to build our business model that makes mental health and wellness services accessible to all individuals in need, despite income limitations. We foster a culture of awareness and education to de-stigmatize conditions that affect millions in our society. We must now focus our efforts on making it accessible to those who need it.

A team comprised of people with integrity is one where you can trust the staff to perform to the best of their ability. Integrity is the foundation on which therapists and clients build a strong alliance and trust. When building our team, we look for therapists who are self aware, accountable, responsible, and trustworthy.

Ignite recognizes that historically, the counseling profession has been dominated by a monocultural approach and catered to those with social privilege. This is a primary barrier to adequate and affordable care in diverse communities. Working with diverse populations requires counselors to have an understanding of their own personal biases, beliefs, and attitudes while providing services. We are committed to building a team of mental health professionals who are dedicated to understanding and educating themselves in cultural differences.

Therapy is tough work! After all, it often involves talking about feelings and life events that are very difficult. This is a core reason to make sure to incorporate fun and humor. Sharing a laugh is relatable and can help break down walls. Not only does laughter foster a fun experience, it also creates instant relaxation. Laughing and smiling actually lowers blood pressure, elevates mood, increases energy, and encourages bonding.
